You can make it: our shop opens next week

Hello Tam Makers,

Come make your own gadget, robot or wearable art at Tam Makers!

Starting next week, we will open our new makerspace on Wednesday evenings, to help you create your own maker project with our community.

We invite you to sign up now for our summer workshops. Our first series is on three Wednesdays in a row: June 29th, July 6th and 13th, between 6 and 9pm.

Here are examples of projects you can make: LED GogglesMagical Mushroom LightsNeoPixel JewelryYour First Robot and more. See our course page for more ideas.

On the first night, we can help you pick a project, order your materials and learn a new skill, like soldering. You will build your project the following weeks, with guidance from instructors and other participants.

No experience is necessary. You will join a community of makers who like to make things together and learn from each other.

Learn more here — and sign up here. The cost is only $72 for all three nights.

Take our fall classes

If you can’t join us this summer, we will offer three more series of ‘You Can Make It’ workshops in the fall. Each series includes four weekly workshops of three hours each, on the dates below:

This fall, we are offering many other maker classes for adults and youth. To learn more and sign up, visit our Classes page.
