Welcome to Tam Makers, our community of makers, teachers and students in Marin County.
While our in-person classes are on hold check out our Maker Zoom Meetings.
We created this community to serve your needs, whether you are interested in making things for yourself or supporting a makerspace for your children.
For a quick overview of some of our accomplishments and activities, take a look at our Year In Review 2018.
Our classes
This last fall, we offered two classes for adults and youth (16+): in which you could engage in maker activities from woodworking, laser cutting, wood turning, CNC routing, Arduinos, vinyl cutting, how to make elegant boxes and cutting boards, to name but a few.
You can find out more in our Classes page, where you can sign up for these classes when they become available again.
Our makerspace (Currently closed due to Covid-19)
All events are at the Tamalpais High School woodshop/makerspace: 700 Miller Avenue (Room 416), Mill Valley, CA 94941. Here are the directions to our makerspace (please email us to arrange a visit, as we are only open a few evenings per week).

Make Making happen in Marin
Our aim is to bring together the tools and the people to form a vibrant community of makers in Southern Marin. We want to expand our lineup of evening classes in the Tam High woodshop/makerspace and also to make making activities available to high school and middle school students.
