The Teen Maker Club is on hold for the moment. Our hope is to have Mill Valley Parks and Recreation include teen maker classes in their program. If you would like to see this program continue, please ask Mill Valley Parks & Rec when they will be offering this.
This afternoon program is for students age 12-17. Students will increase their skills as they make projects while learning the safe operation of equipment and tools in the maker space. There is not a set curriculum; activities are based on individual interests and abilities.
Activities may include:
- Laser cutting
- 3D printing
- Electronics
- Robotics
- Wood turning
- Woodworking with hand tools
Advanced students may learn to use Computer Aided Design and manufacturing as well as power tools for their woodworking projects.
High school students are also welcome to sign up for our evening classes.
