Sign up here for this month’s sessions on Thursday afternoons, May 2 – May 30, from 3:30 to 5:30pm.
This afternoon program is for students age 12-17. Students will increase their skills as they make projects while learning the safe operation of equipment and tools in the maker space. There is not a set curriculum; activities are based on individual interests and abilities.
Activities may include:
- Laser cutting
- 3D printing
- Wood turning
- Woodworking with hand tools
Advanced students may learn to use Computer Aided Design and manufacturing as well as power tools for their woodworking projects.
Maximum class size is 10 students. Suitable for ages 12-17. Workshop fee is $60 for 4 sessions of 2 hours each. Fee includes incidental project supplies.
High school students are also welcome to sign up for our evening classes.
